Event information for the 5th Babcock Bog & Boulder Challenge is now available. Most other events are tentatively scheduled - we have a location, a date and a director; but are still working on getting permission.

Orienteering Facts

Orienteering is a sport for all ages in which the participant uses a detailed topographic map and a compass to navigate to pre-marked locations (controls) that are shown on the map.

It usually takes place in a forested area or a park, although it can be done on city streets.

Participants in the sport are called orienteers.
