 Club Brochure
The club brochure describes what orienteering is and what the club does.

 Flyers
This link leads to flyers/posters about upcoming events hosted by WPOC.  Some flyers focus on driving directions; others introduce orienteering.  The flyers may be printed and used to advertise the upcoming events or handed out to potential orienteers at a presentation or workshop.

 Orienteering on Kaleidoscope
In November 2022, WPOC worked with CamRon Productions to make a segment of the Kaleidoscope program on orienteering. The link is to this program. There are three segments in the program; the whole program is 30 minutes long. The orienteering segment is the one in the middle; it starts about 11:40 in. This program was shown on WATM (an ABC station) and WWCP (a FOX station) in January 2023.

 Orienteering, All Welcome
This award-winning 11-minute video was made in 1988.  It is an introduction to the sport of orienteering, discussing the importance of maps, the origins of the sport, competitive orienteering, and the elements that make orienteering accessible to most people of all ages.  The digitizing is a bit grainy; but you should find it well worth watching.

 TV Interview
In the Fall of 2010, Jim Wolfe was interviewed for Comcast Newmakers.  This link leads to that interview at YouTube.

 Newsletter
The newsletter was published two or three times per year; it has not been published since 2011 .  It is a  collection of results from WPOC events and articles related to orienteering.  The newletter was sent electronically to club members in addition to being available on the Website.

Following are links to copies of several newspaper articles that were written about WPOC or its events.

Online Instruction in Orienteering
In the summer of 2021, Jim Wolfe worked with the Johnstown Public Library to create online beginner instruction in orienteering. The teaching was aimed at teenagers who were in a summer program at the library. However, the instruction should be useful to anyone who is totally new to orienteering. The link leads to a page of text that introduces about a dozen YouTube videos, each of which covers one aspect of beginning orienteering. The text also discusses some elements that are not captured in the videos.
