Started out overcast and threat of rain, but turned out to be a nice day. 24 people braved the uncertainty, and we had 40 starts. The 4 courses gave a particular challenge with all the rain the last few days, as both Long sprint courses were designed to cross Tom's Run creek several times each. So in the end there were no dry feet.

Ryan Knecht designed 2 Long Sprint courses (for advanced) and 2 Short Sprint courses (geared more for beginners). Times were a little slower then expected, but with the creek running high and fast, it was slightly expected during the event. We had a few runners attempt the designed route between control 11 and 12 on the Long A course, following the creek (as both sides had 6ft+ high weeds) despite the higher water levels.

We had a few issues with controls, 3 controls between the two short courses and one shared control on one of Long courses were tampered with between placing and start. We were able to find one control box, but the other two look like they were stolen (but the flags remained). Some results were adjusted due to these missing controls.
